B.C. Binning

Today's visit to the Two Rivers Art Gallery was very educational. While touring B.C. Binning's art work I learned a lot about abstract art. The painting that sticks out in my mind the most is the Maquette painting where Binning painted the many industries BC has. I thought it was neat how he showed the diversity of BC's industry in 'somewhat' small painting.
My favourite part of the field trip however, was the abstract drawings that we created. It was so fun drawing to the different music and it was neat to see how your draw strokes changed depending on the music. Hopefully, I will be able to do this art activity in my practicum, I think the students would love it!
Thanks Amber for showing me the spaghetti art, I think that would be a fun lesson for Halloween!

Looks like a neat exhibit!

I love drawing to music! It is a great introductory activity for drawing at any age!

(I have a draw to music lesson posted on my blog!)
